Community

We believe the only way to achieve animal liberation is through community effort. We are all in this together and every single activist is a part of our efforts, ideas, plans and campaigns. A strong community is vital for the success of the movement.

Solidarity

While we concentrate on the rights of other animals, we acknowledge and support all other struggles fighting for justice. We strictly oppose any type of discrimination towards anyone.

Georges Hayek

Founder

Vegan since 2010, Georges founded Lebanese Vegans in early 2014 and has constantly pushed the scene forward with his efforts and commitment.

Administration

Vegan since 2016, Rami organizes activism events in Beirut and has been one of the back bones of our food relief program.

Vanessa Bejjany

Food Relief Campaign Manager

Vegan since 2016, Vanessa manages our Vegan Food Relief program and runs the social media page of Lebanese Vegans Food.

Roland Azar

Food relief program operator

Vegan since 2015, Roland runs Choose Compassion and has been involved with Lebanese Vegans since 2017.

Samira Oufan

Vegan Dietician

Vegan since 2019, Samira is a specialized vegan dietician that consults people on their vegan transition to promote better health and responsibility. She has played a big role in spreading vegan awareness in our country and currently works at the world’s first vegan hospital, Hopital Hayek, 10 minutes away from our center!

Seb Alex

Advocacy & Campaigns

Vegan since 2013, Seb helps with the organization and execution of pressure campaigns.
